How FBEYS students show their literacy skills in class other than ELA

Literacy goes beyond the classroom walls at FBEYS! Here is how our students are connecting reading to the world around them:

• Grade 1 connected art and science with outdoor leaf crafts inspired by Leaf Man.
• Grade 2 explored Canada and its communities by learning new vocabulary to describe different regions and traditions.
• Grade 4 shared their love of reading with children at Care A-Lot for Tots daycare.
