Skills Period: What is skills period about?

Students get to participate in different learning activities that are not always part of the curriculum.  The skills worked on vary depending on the different sessions.  They include perseverance, investigation, management, discovery, etc.  A list of skills sessions offered this year include Spaghetti Bridgebuilding, Fiber Arts, Wood Burning Art, Weightlifting, Instruments, Yoga and others. In the new year, there will be a session on maintaining an ice rink, land based learning and many more.
