Lakeshore Supt. Janet Martell is emboldened by the success of the outgoing year and looking ahead with the rest of her staff at the potential for new ideas, new opportunities and a new year. Both Martell and assistant superintendent Leanne Peters said they’re thrilled with how last year went for the division. This includes the success of many division-wide initiatives around literacy, like reading apprenticeship and reading recovery as well as the blossoming of some exciting new frontiers like the LEGO program.
